CII Telangana lauds state budget 2025-26

Hyderabad, Mar 19 (UNI) R Sivaprasad Reddy, Chairman of CII Telangana and Managing Director of Rachamallu Forgings, has lauded the Telangana government’s 2025-26 budget, calling it a significant step toward building a more equitable society.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, he praised the budget’s focus on industrial growth and development, particularly through the introduction of the Mega Master Plan 2050, which includes establishing greenfield industrial clusters in Ranga Reddy and Mahabubnagar districts.
Reddy noted that these initiatives will provide a significant boost to the state’s industrial growth ambitions. CII Telangana has long advocated for the holistic development of the state, aiming for a $1 trillion economy, and he expressed satisfaction that the state government has outlined priorities aligned with this vision. The proposal to build a Future City was also welcomed, as it is expected to help reduce the burden on the capital city.
The CII Chairman highlighted the budget’s emphasis on employment, skill development, and support for MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises). He noted that these measures, along with targeted support for agriculture, urban development, and sustainability, are expected to yield long-term positive impacts.
Additionally, Reddy appreciated the budget’s focus on women’s welfare, particularly through the Mahalakshmi and Gruha Jyoti Schemes and the subsidized LPG initiative. He expressed hope that the government would continue to enhance support for women, especially urban working women, and integrate them fully into the state’s economic development process.
