Communal hate campaign against Empuraan disturbing: Kerala CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 30 (UNI) The ongoing communal hate campaign against the film "Empuraan" and its creators is "deeply disturbing", Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Sunday.

"Undermining creative freedom through fear and threats strikes at the very core of democracy. Freedom of expression is a fundamental right; we must stand united to defend it," he added.
Meanwhile, RSS mouthpiece 'Organiser' alleged that superstar Mohanlal-starrer 'Empuraan', directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, whitewashes Islamic terrorism. UNI DS SSP
