Develop comprehensive app, website for all schemes of Agriculture Dept: Fadnavis

Mumbai, Mar 20 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Thursday that by using AI based technology for agriculture, an app and a website should be developed to make all schemes of Agriculture department available at one place,
Presiding over a meeting held regarding crop insurance scheme and e-crop inspection at Vidhan Bhavan here, he directed that the Agriculture department should give priority to developing innovation by encouraging startups in agriculture.
He said that a comprehensive single-window interface should be developed for farmers app and website to provide farmers with easy information and advice related to agriculture.
Also, farmer- and agro-centric Agristack schemes should be planned and implemented, he instructed.
Fadnavis directed that all schemes of the central and the state governments should be integrated and implemented effectively,
He also directed to submit revised proposals for all ongoing schemes of the state where reforms are required.
The Chief Minister instructed to place emphasis on developing a specific mechanism for sale and distribution of authentic seeds on Saathi portal for Maharashtra.
