Equal priority for development, welfare: MLA Kondababu

Kakinada, July 1 (UNI) City MLA Vanamadi Kondababu today said that the present Alliance government was committed to the upliftment of the poor and to implement the welfare schemes as promised giving equal priority for development.
Distributing the NTR Bharosa pensions to the beneficiaries at Bankpeta in 34th division here, he claimed that the government as assured the pension amount was increased to old people, widows, otherwise abled and people suffering from diseases for long.
The MLA further said that the welfare schemes brought radical changes in the lives of the poor people and the Government’s aim was to ensure social justice, economic equality among people.
Apart from extending financial assistance to the patients suffering from kidney and liver diseases and Thalassemia, he claimed, government was trying to provide an honourable living.
Kondababu said the government, under the leadership of CM Chandrababu and Dy CM Pawan Kalyan, was going ahead with the policy of equal priority to development and welfare.
Alliance parties leader Mallipudi Veeru, Gadula Saibaba, Division leaders Ponga Satya, Bachu Krishna , Cutout Sreenu and Nakka Suribabu were among those attended.
