Former Minister Vidadala Rajani slams Redbook governance in AP

Guntur, Mar 23 (UNI) YSRCP leader and former Minister Vidadala Rajini has vehemently condemned the filing of what she calls fabricated ACB cases against her, describing them as the pinnacle of the “Redbook governance” prevailing in the state.
Addressing the media, Rajini accused TDP MP Lavu Sri Krishnadevaraya of orchestrating these false cases as part of a personal vendetta.

She stated that the current SP’s investigation into her is being directed by Devarayalu, given that the SP is the son of a TDP MLC, rendering the probe biased.
Rajini asserted that the attempt to intimidate her through these ACB cases reflects the opposition’s foolishness, emphasizing that she will not be cowed and is prepared to fight the allegations legally.

Rajini elaborated that since the coalition government came to power ten months ago, TDP leaders have engaged in a relentless campaign of false propaganda against her, culminating in the concoction of an ACB case based on a fabricated narrative.
She clarified that she has never met or spoken to the complainant, nor engaged in any transactions with them, yet the case persists under Devarayalu’s influence.

She accused the MP of promising support for the complainant’s illegal business ventures to ensure the filing of these baseless charges.
Rajini further revealed that on September 2, 2020, during a YSR anniversary event when the YSRCP was in power, Devarayalu, then an MP, used the Gurazala Circle Inspector (CI) and DSP to illegally collect call data of her, her family, and her office staff.

Following her complaint to then-Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the party leadership reprimanded Sri Krishnadevarayalu, and the police department suspended the involved CI and
DSP after an inquiry. Since then, she alleged, Devarayalu has harbored a grudge against her,
which he has now escalated.

The former minister presented evidence of Devarayalu’s involvement, citing a complaint filed on his personal letterhead to the DGP, Home Minister, Vigilance, CID, and ACB authorities.

She accused him of collaborating with MLA Pattipati Pullarao to not only target her with SC/ST atrocity cases but also implicate her brother-in-law in Germany and her elderly father-in-law in false cases.
Rajini stated that while she respects educationist Lavu Rattayya, she is compelled to expose his son Devarayalu’s misdeeds, including his attempts to grab lake lands in Vizag and elsewhere at throwaway prices.
She vowed that the attempts to break her spirit and see tears in her eyes would fail, asserted.

“They cannot scare me.” Rajini concluded by announcing her intent to pursue a legal battle against these fabricated cases.
