Hyderabad, Mar 25 (UNI) The Telangana Legislative Assembly convened at 1000 hours on Tuesday for the 10th day of its budget session.
Soon after the proceedings began, Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar cancelled the Question Hour and initiated discussions on demands for grants for the financial year 2025-26.
The discussions will cover various departments, including School Education, Higher Education, Commercial Taxes Administration, Sports and Youth Services, Roads and Buildings, Excise Administration, Tourism, Art and Culture, Forests, Science, Technology and Environment, and Administration of Religious Endowments.
Additionally, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu (Finance & Planning, Energy) will present the Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for 2024-25.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Minister for Roads & Buildings and Cinematography, will lay on the table a copy of the 7th Annual Report of the Telangana Film Development Corporation Limited for the year 2023-24.
