He was received at the airport by AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka,
along with several ministers and senior party leaders.

Party sources said, Kharge is scheduled to be the chief guest at the Village Presidents' commemoration programme being hosted by the Telangana Congress at Lal Bahadur Stadium

The mega event is expected to draw a crowd of around 40,000 party members, including village, mandal, and district presidents, MLAs, MPs, ministers, and chairpersons of various corporations.
The gathering is seen as a major effort to energize the Congress cadre at the grassroots level
