Haryana: Female YouTuber arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan

Hissar, May 17 (UNI) A female YouTuber has been arrested from Hissar on the charge of spying for Pakistan, Haryana police said on Saturday.
According to police, a team led by DySP Jitendra Kumar arrested Jyoti Malhotra from her house on Thursday.
She was produced before a court which remanded her to five-day police custody. Further investigation is on.
According to police, Jyoti was allegedly in contact of Pakistan's intelligence agencies and she has been accused of sending secret information via social media to them.
Sources said that Jyoti had visited Pakistan on three occasions earlier.
She is active on social media and has more than three lakh followers on Facebook and YouTube.
Earlier, she used to work with a private firm in Gurugram, and after she lost the job during Covid-19, she became a vlogger.
Most of her videos are about her experiences of travelling.
