PM Modi to inaugurate redeveloped Baijnath Paprola Railway Station on May 22

Dharamshala, May 17 ( UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the redeveloped Baijnath Paprola Railway Station in Jammu Division via video conferencing on May 22.
Uchit Singhal Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Northern Railway, told UNI that the event is part of the ambitious Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, a flagship initiative of Indian Railways aimed at transforming railway stations across the country into modern, passenger-friendly hubs.
He said that under this scheme, stations are being upgraded with state-of-the-art facilities including high-speed Wi-Fi, clean and hygienic toilets, water ATMs, food courts, and designated shopping areas.
Special emphasis is being placed on making stations accessible for persons with disabilities. Key features of the redeveloped Baijnath Paprola station include ramps at entry points, wheelchair-accessible toilets, dedicated water booths, signage in Braille, and easier access to foot overbridges, Singhal disclosed.
He said that the inauguration ceremony will be attended by public representatives, prominent citizens, railway staff and their families, and school children. He said that the residents of Baijnath Paprola and nearby areas have also been cordially invited to witness and celebrate this historic occasion.
