Jharkhand: Three of family killed in road accident in Giridih

Giridih, May 17 (UNI) A tragic road accident claimed the lives of a couple and their son in Giridih district of Jharkhand on Saturday.

Police sources said that the accident occurred when a car, carrying a family, veered out of control and crashed into a tree near Ambadih Mor under Bagodar police station area. The three occupants of the car died on the spot.

The deceased have been identified as Ashish Kumar Barnwal, his wife Shweta Barnwal, and their son Paltu, all residents of Chhotki Saria. The family was returning from Ranchi to Saria when the accident occurred.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
