Bengaluru, Mar 23 (UNI) Karnataka Cooperation Minister KN Rajanna's son and MLC Rajendra met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at his official residence, Cauvery, on Sunday amid the controversy surrounding a honey trap case allegedly involving a minister.
Addressing a public event in Madhugiri, Rajendra openly criticised the purported mastermind behind the alleged honey trap, questioning his motives. "Does he not have a family? Why is he trying to honeytrap us?" he remarked. He further stated that he and his father would determine their next course of action based on the Chief Minister’s guidance regarding filing a formal complaint.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President DK Shivakumar refrained from commenting on the controversy.
Speaking to reporters in Tumakuru, Minister Rajanna confirmed that he planned to submit a formal complaint to both Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Home Minister G Parameshwara by mid-week. He also indicated that like-minded ministers would discuss the issue during the upcoming cabinet meeting scheduled for Thursday. UNI BDN SSP
