Killing Hindus after asking religion is like civil war in India: Nischalanand

Prayagraj, Apr 24 (UNI) Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati of Govardhan Math Puri strongly condemned the killing of Hindu tourists in Pahalgam by terrorists after asking their religion and called it a conspiracy to create an atmosphere of civil war in India.
The Shankaracharya said in his Shivganga Ashram in New Jhunsi that such a heinous crime is not forgivable in any way. He said that killing Hindus after asking their religion seems to be a nefarious conspiracy to create an atmosphere of civil war in India.
He said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken suo motu cognisance of the entire incident and India will take strict action in the coming days."
The Shankaracharya said the end of those who are flowing in the flow of terrorism is certain. "If the terrorists have fired bullets on unarmed Hindu tourists at the behest of Pakistan, then it is certain that India will not spare them. The terrorists shot the tourists after asking them if they were Hindus, which clearly shows that they want to create a civil war-like situation in the country," he said.
He said that if there was awareness beforehand, such an incident would not have happened. On being asked about the Amarnath Yatra being affected after this incident, he said that there has been a tradition of sages in India. "People see that there has been a death, but despite this, they do not stop, because their faith is strong," he said.
Swami Nischalanand said that British historian Thomas Babington Macaulay wanted to make Hindus directionless, but India's sage tradition is so strong that he could not succeed in that. "Similarly, there will be no impact on the Amarnath Yatra," he said.
Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati of Jyotishpeeth, Badrinath said that the Pahalgam incident is not an ordinary incident. "Politicians keep saying that terrorism has no religion. This incident has proved that the tourists were killed because they belonged to a particular religion. This incident has proved that terrorism has a religion," he said.
He wondered why the word terrorism should be used for them. "In terrorism, 'vaad' is a word, 'vaad' means a viewpoint. This is not a viewpoint, it is selfishness, it is demonism. They should be called demons. The Pahalgam incident cannot be condemned enough," he said. UNI XC AB SSP
