Maha: 26/11 terrorist Kasab's lawyer Kazmi agrees to defend Rana

Mumbai, Apr 10 (UNI) Advocate Abbas Kazmi, who had represented lone captured accused Ajmal Kasab in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks case, credited the country's security agencies for successfully bringing Tahawwur Rana, one of 26/11 terror attacks co-conspirators, to India but said that he is ready to defend Rana if the state government or Rana himself appoint him as his lawyer.
He said that as a lawyer, he is duty bound to defend his client, as a doctor treats his patient till his last breath.
Kazmi also said that the legal procedure will be the same as it was in the previous trial, which was faced by Kasab at Arthur Road jail in Mumbai.
