Maha strive to be on top in country in providing maximum services online by October:

Mumbai, Apr 17 (UNI) Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Thursday that Maharashtra should strive to be on top in the country in providing maximum services online by October.
Presiding over a meeting of various social sectors held in the Cabinet Hall of Mantralaya here, he said that the state government has notified 1,027 services under the Right to Services Act, out of which 527 services have been made available on the 'Aaple Sarkar' portal.
Stating that it is necessary to provide transparent and reliable services to the citizens of the state, Fadnavis said that 138 integrated services of various departments should be made available on the Aaple Sarkar portal by May 31.
Also, the remaining 306 notified services should be made online by August 15.
Action should be taken to impose a fine of Rs 1,000 per day on the heads of administrative departments who delay in making online services available within the specified period, he directed.
Additionally, information should be given by September 15 about which new services can be notified while implementing the next process regarding the Right to Service Act.
At the same time, the process of authenticating the process of making services online should be done by 'MahaIT', added Fadnavis.
