Mumbai, Mar 31 (UNI) After Gudi Padwa, the festival of Ramadan Eid is being celebrated on Monday with enthusiasm in Maharashtra.
On the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde extended his greetings to the people of the state.
Shinde in his message said, "The month of Ramadan is considered sacred for Muslim brothers. ‘Eid-ul-Fitr’, which comes after the fast, creates a sense of gratitude for patience, sacrifice and dedication."
He wished that the lives of the citizens of the state be filled with happiness and prosperity.
"Eid-ul-Fitr is not just a festival, but a celebration of good values in our lives. On this day, let us all come together and strengthen harmony in the society with love and affection for each other," he added.
