Mumbai, Apr 10 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan presided over the 'Mahavir Swami Janm Kalyanak Mahotsav' organised by the Bharat Jain Mahamandal on occasion of Mahavir Jayanti at Yogi Sabhagruh here on Thursday.
The Governor released the 125th anniversary issue 'Jain Jagat' brought out by Bharat Jain Mahamandal on the occasion.
Speaking on occasion, the Governor said paying taxes is one way of serving the society. He said through the collection of taxes, the government builds highways and bridges and takes care of the jawans who are defending the nation on the borders.
