Mantralaya organises 'Be Digitally Aware' seminar to promote computer awareness

Mumbai, May 9 (UNI) Computers have become an integral part of people in the digital age. Computers are used in many areas such as education, business, banking, entertainment.
In this digital age, it is necessary to have knowledge of the basics of computers, but it is also necessary to be computer aware for ease of work and security, said Prajakta Talwalkar of Mastech Nasscom on Friday.
She was guiding in a seminar on the topic of ‘Be Digitally Aware’ , which was organised in the Mantralaya on the occasion of the Tech-Wari programme.

While Rahul Mulane of Nasscom said that, in the world of information technology, artificial intelligence should be used with caution and advised the attendees to be vigilant to prevent data theft while using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and to provide data carefully on AI tools like Chat GPT.
Along with this, he also provided information on various parts of the computer, operating systems, useful shortcuts while using the computer keyboard, how to use smart email and calendar while using Gmail, use of labels in Gmail, Google Notes, Google Lens, document digitization, he added.
