Bhubaneswar, Apr 17 (UNI) Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Odisha Assembly Speaker Surma Padhi, Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Bardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, along with other ministers and dignitaries, paid tribute to the legendary leader Biju Patnaik on his Shraddha Diwas inside the Odisha Assembly premises on Thursday.

BJD Chief Whip in the Assembly, Pramila Mallik, and Deputy Chief Whip, Pratap Deb, also offered tributes to the great leader at the Assembly.

BJD President and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik, along with several party leaders, paid tribute to Biju Babu, on his 28th death anniversary by offering floral tributes at the statue of Biju Babu in Biju Patnaik Forest Park.

The BJD also organized a Tilotarpan programme at the Bindusagar Ghat in Old Bhubaneswar to commemorate the 28th death anniversary of the legendary statesman and visionary leader, which was attended by several party leaders and workers.

The party is also organizing "Tirodhan Divas" in memory of the great leader at Sankha Bhawan, the BJD party office, to be graced by BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik.
