Arms laid in Manipur, one nabbed

Imphal, Feb 23 (UNI) Arms and ammunition were surrendered at the office of SP, Thoubal, Imphal East, and Imphal West on Sunday. Police said a militant was also nabbed while arms were recovered and two bunkers constructed by Kuki militants were destroyed.
Police said at SP Office Thoubal District people surrendered SMG Carbine with Magazine, Tear Gas Guns, Sniper Rifles, Double Barrel Gun, Single Barrel Gun, .38 mm Pistol, Mortar Shells, improvised IEDs, and Hand Grenades.
At SP Imphal East District one AK 56 Rifle with magazine, 2.3.01x7.62 mm MAS Series Bolt Action sniper rifle with magazine and 303 Rifle with magazine were surrendered. At SP Office Imphal West a 9 mm Carbine was surrendered.
