Manipur Police file FIR against KSO President

Imphal, May 17 (UNI) Manipur Police on Saturday filed an FIR against one Paojakhup Guite, President, Kuki Student Organisation (KSO) Delhi.
According to a statement made by Manipur Police, Guite issued threats (in a video ) to the Meitei who will be participating in the Shirui festival at Ukhrul.
In the video, Guite, using a loudspeaker, asked Kuki to kill all Meitei. He further said Kuki individuals should not allow Meitei to cross the buffer zone to attend the upcoming Shirui Festival at Ukhrul.
Police said the video has been circulating on social media since Friday, and Churachandpur police have registered an FIR and all efforts, including raids in nearby Districts, are being made for his immediate arrest.
The police of neighbouring States of Mizoram, Assam, Nagaland, and Meghalaya have been requested to arrest him as quickly as possible.
All necessary security arrangements shall be made to ensure the security of people attending the Shirui festival, police said
