Security forces arrest 7 Kuki militants in Manipur

Imphal, Feb 16 (UNI) Security forces have arrested seven Kuki National Army militants in Manipur, along with arms and ammunition, police said here on Sunday.
Police said on Sunday that security forces conducted area domination and patrolling at Old Khaukual under Sangalkot-PS, Churachandpur District on Saturday.
Siete cuadros de KNA identificados como Seikhogin Haokip, Ngamlenmang Mate, Seikhomang Haokip, Thanglelmang Haokip, Jamkhosei Haokip, Lhunkholal Khongsai y Mangkhangthang Kipgen fueron aprehendidos. The KNA is a signatory of Suspension of Operation with the government and they are not supposed to carry arms and remain confined in camps.
The militants were found carrying two AK-47 Rifle, 7.62 Assault Rifle, three Single Bore Rifle, ten magazine of AK-47, 654 7.62 mm live rounds, 19 Single Bore live cartridge, six Cell Phones, Baofeng Radio Sets, Dynamo with Battery and large numbers of war like materials.
Police also recovered 9 mm Pistol , 7.65 mm Pistol , Improvised Long Range Mortar , Improvised Explosive Device from Senam village, Tengnoupal District. In another incident 12 Bore Pump Gun, Single Barrel Rifle , Hand Grenade, and other war like materials were seized in between Border Pillar No. 73 and 74, Tengnoupal District.
