Two nabbed, 32 arms laid down in Manipur

Imphal, Mar 6 (UNI) Two alleged militants were nabbed and arms were laid down in separate incidents during the last 24 hours, police said on Thursday.
A total of 32 different types of weapons, various ammunition and other miscellaneous items were voluntarily surrendered by the public to the officials and police of Churachandpur, Imphal East and Kangpokpi Districts during the last 24 hours.
In another operation Manipur Police arrested two active members of an outfit at Imphal-East District. They were allegedly involved in extortion of money, police said.
