Police arrest seven militants in Manipur

Imphal, Mar 8 (UNI) Seven militants were nabbed in different operations, and three arms laid down during the last 24 hours, Manipur Police said on Saturday. Police said three different types of weapons, various ammunition, and other miscellaneous items were voluntarily surrendered by the public:
Police said two active members of KYKL were nabbed from BP 77 near Lokchao River, Moreh, Tengnoupal District . In another incident an active cadre of PREPAK was also nabbed.
Meanwhile, two active members of, KCP (PWG) Organisation were nabbed from RIMS Main Gate, Lamphel , Imphal West. In another operation an active member of KCP (PWG) Organisation was nabbed from Imphal West. Another team of security and police nabbed one active member of KCP (Taibanganba).
Meanwhile three illegal bunkers were destroyed at Pelyang village under Machi –PS Tengnoupal District.
