Police arrest two in Tripura in connection with kidnapping of two youths of Assam

Agartala, March 8 (UNI) Tripura police in an operation have arrested two persons of Sonamura under Sepahijala district in connection with the kidnapping of two youths from Assam, who were allegedly lured into the state with the promise of work and later held for ransom over a month.
The accused were arrested on Friday.
However, the abducted youths are still traceless, although police are continuing the search based on the information of the accused youths. The accused were Manik Mia and Ripon Mia, brothers-in-law of Nasima Begum, Panchayat Pradhan of Kalapania in Sonamura.
