Agartala secures Rs 116 crore under CITIS 2.0

Agartala, Mar 5 (UNI) Agartala Smart City Limited (ASCL) has embarked on a new project for Integrated Solid Waste Management to manage the city's growing population pressure, officials said here on Wednesday.
Under the City Investments to Innovate, Integrate & Sustain 2.0 (CITIIS 2.0) initiative, ASCL secured a Rs 116 Cr project through a competitive process involving expert evaluations from the European Union and India.
ASCL Chief Executive Officer Dr Sailesh Yadav signed an agreement early this week in Jaipur, marking a major step toward making Agartala one of India’s cleanest cities. Over the next two years, the initiative aims to enhance waste management infrastructure and contribute to the CITIIS 2.0 mission of creating 18 of the cleanest cities in India.

Exotic animals worth Rs 1 3 crore seized in Mizoram near Myanmar border
