SLNMCH Authority claims no medical lapses in the deaths of five Patients

Bhubaneswar, June 4 (UNI) An internal inquiry into the deaths of five patients at Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital (SLNMCH) in Koraput on Tuesday night found no lapses in medical or nursing care, according to Dr. Sushant Kumar Sahu, the hospital’s Dean-cum-Superintendent.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Dr. Sahu addressed the growing public outrage and suspicions of medical negligence following the incident.
He said an internal probe had already been launched, and a team comprising senior professors and medical specialists reviewed the treatment procedures, reportedly finding no deficiencies in medical or nursing care.
