Odisha spends 6.1 pc GSDP on capital expenditure: CM Majhi

Bhubaneswar, Feb 27 (UNI) Odisha has spent 6.1 percent of its Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) on capital expenditure, the highest in the country, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said.
Reviewing the expenditure of various departments on Thursday, the Chief Minister suggested ensuring that total expenditure reaches at least 85 per cent by the end of the current financial year (2024-25).
He stated that the total expenditure in 2023-24 was 81per cent of the total budget.
