Bihar govt. fails to control corruption: CPI

Patna, March 29 (UNI)Communist Party of India (CPI) alleged that the Bihar government failed miserably in controlling corruption in the state.
CPI State Secretary Ramnaresh Pandey said here on Saturday that corruption has reached its peak in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government of Bihar. He said that the investigating Agencies were recovering crores of rupees during raids at the public servants of the state government. He said that the Enforcement Directorate recovered Rs 11.64 crore along with some documents from the residence of Chief Engineer Tarini Das of the Building Construction Department.
Recovery of crores of rupees during the raid conducted at the places of IAS officer Sanjeev Hans and other officials indicates the deep rooted corruption from top to bottom in the administration, he blamed.
