Industries worth Rs10,000 crore to be established in Mayurbhanj

Bhubaneswar, May 13 (UNI): Industries worth Rs.10,000 crore will be set up in Mayurbhanj district, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister, who laid the foundation stone and inaugurated several projects worth Rs.420 crore during his visit to Mayurbhanj, said that industrialization will accelerate the development of the district and create vast employment opportunities for its residents.
He also announced the establishment of a new +2 college at the Bishoi Block Headquarters and declared that the mini stadium in Bishoi will be named after the great leader Dharanidhar Naik, whose statue was also unveiled.
While addressing a program at the Bishoi Mini Stadium, the Chief Minister said that these projects mark a new chapter in the developmental journey of Mayurbhanj district.
"Today is a day of pride and honour for the people of the district. These initiatives will usher in a new era of development in Rairangpur, Kusumi, Bijatala, Bahalda, Jamda, and Tiring, and will lay the foundation for building a prosperous Odisha," he said.
The Chief Minister noted that the projects include rural drinking water schemes, mega piped water supply systems, school infrastructure upgrades, banking facilities, health centers, road construction, tribal cultural centers, and other government infrastructure developments.
