Lucknow, Mar 30 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday said that the country is trapped in an economic crisis under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, and this has increased the concern of businessmen and traders.
Addressing a programme of small businessmen and entrepreneurs organised by Tapasya Foundation Trust in Lucknow, Akhilesh said, "This government has created all kinds of problems for businessmen."
He said that the banking sector has collapsed due to the wrong policies of the BJP government. "Banks had to be merged. Ease of doing business is less effective. Their ease of doing business has become a victim of insult, crime, corruption and commission. The entire business is entangled in GST and TDS. Make in India is not visible. China dominates in manufacturing. The government has given the entire market to others," he claimed.
