AP: Man kills his two sons, later commits suicide

Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), Mar 15 (UNI) In a shocking incident, a man killed his two sons and later committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his house in Subba Rao Nagar here.

Circle Inspector Peddi Raju told the media here on Saturday that Vanapalli Chadra Kishore (32) was working as an Assistant Accountant in the ONGC office.
Chanra Kishore on Friday went to his office along with his wife Tanuja and children Joshil (7) and Nikhil (6) to celebrate Holi festival. Sometime later, he told his wife Tanuja that he was taking the children to a cloth shop to purchase clothes and left the office.

However, he did not call her back and did not respond to her phone calls either. Tajuna went to her house and found the doors locked. She, along with the help of her neighbours, broke open the doors and found her husband and two sons dead in the house.

The deceased Chandra Kishore killed his two sons in a cruel manner by tying their hands and legs and later dunking their heads in two water-filled buckets in the bathroom. Later he ended life by hanging from the ceiling fan.

The police found a suicide note in which the deceased stated that his two children were very poor in studies and fearing about his future, he was taking the extreme step.
However, the exact reason for the killing of two children and taking the extreme step by Chandra Kishore were being ascertained, the CI said.
The deceased Joshil was studying first class and Nikhil was studying UKG at a private school. The CI registered a case and shifted the bodies to the Government General Hospital (GGH) for postmortem.
