Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 3 (UNI) Reacting to the killing of a Kerala youth who was shot dead on the Jordanian border while trying to sneak into Israel, BJP leader and party's Kerala in-charge Prakash Javadekar on Monday said youths are leaving the state due to lack of employment.
"Yet another Kerala youth was shot dead by the Jordanian army while sneaking into Israel. This is just not a Visa fraud. It is a complete failure of LDF and UDF in creating jobs," Javadekar said in a message on 'X.'
"Kerala youth does not find jobs in Kerala. They have either to go to other states or countries," he remarked.
Javadekar was responding to the death of Thomas Gabriel Perera, a resident of Rajiv Gandhi Nagar near Thumba, who was shot dead. His friend and relative Edison sustained gunshot wounds in the leg. He was given medical aid by the Jordanian army and repatriated to India.
Earlier, Thomas Gabriel Perera, who was facing financial crisis, left for Jordan on a tourist visa to find employment there.
