Miss World 2025 contestants to visit Buddhavanam on Monday

Hyderabad, May 11 (UNI) Contestants of Miss World 2025 are scheduled to visit Buddhavanam, Nagarjuna Sagar in Nalgonda district and other prominent tourist locations on Monday.
In preparation for the visit, police have brought Sagar town under tight security. Following the directives of Superintendent of Police Sharat Chandra Pawar, extensive security arrangements have been put in place to ensure the safety of the international guests.
To maintain high security standards, thorough checks are being conducted at multiple points with the assistance of bomb disposal squads, dog squads, and area domination teams. Nearly 1,000 police personnel have been deployed in Nagarjuna Sagar to manage the security operations, police sources said.
In view of the Miss World contestants' visit to Buddhavanam, the police have issued prohibitory orders on drone usage in the area. Security checks are also being conducted along the main roads leading to Nagarjuna Sagar and at key tourist sites within the town, the sources added.
