Wayanad model township to be completed by 2025-26 fiscal: Kerala minister

Wayanad, Mar 27 (UNI) Kerala Revenue Minister K Rajan on Thursday said the government's aim is to complete the construction of houses in the Wayanad Model Township by December and finish the entire project by the 2025-2026 fiscal.
Talking to newspersons at Kalpetta, Rajan said the construction of the entire township project at Elston Estate will be completed in the 2025-2026 fiscal.
He said the construction work was carried out by Uralungal Labour Cooperative Labour society and became a role model to the entire world, under the monitoring of four committees chaired by the Chief Minister, the Ministers and sponsors. A special officer will be appointed and the Chief Secretary will overview the entire works.
