Hyderabad, Apr 11 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy paid rich tributes to the statue of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule on the occasion of his 198th birth anniversary at Amberpet in the city on Friday.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud, CM’s Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, former MPs V Hanumantha Rao and Anjan Kumar Yadav, several MLAs and MLCs, GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, Constituency In-charge Rohin Reddy, and other leaders also offered floral tributes to the statue of Phule.
Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inspected the site near Necklace Road IMAX, where a new statue of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule is proposed to be installed.
He was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, MLAs, GHMC Mayor Vijayalakshmi, former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, BC leaders Jajula Srinivas Goud, and other public representatives.
The Chief Minister directed the concerned officials to conduct a detailed survey of the site and submit a comprehensive report with a proposed design plan. He also instructed them to ensure that the proposed installation does not cause traffic congestion or related issues in the future, official sources said.
