Seethakka calls for fast-tracking development in united Warangal District

Hanumakonda (Telangana) Apr 13 (UNI) Telangana Minister for Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, and Women & Child Welfare, Drs Anasuya Seethakka, has emphasised the need for coordinated efforts between officials and public representatives to ensure the comprehensive development of the united Warangal district.

At a high-level review meeting held at the Hanumakonda District Collectorate on Saturday, Seethakka instructed officials to blacklist negligent contractors and expedite road construction and infrastructure works, particularly CC roads in SC colonies. She urged the completion of tenders within a week and assured that bills would be cleared for quality work.

The Minister also directed swift action on strengthening Anganwadi centers, starting works in Indira Mahila Shakti buildings, and ensuring uninterrupted drinking water supply in villages. She recommended relocating underutilized Anganwadi centers to nearby government schools for better efficiency.

Several MLAs, including Kadiyam Srihari, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, and others, raised constituency-specific development concerns, particularly related to roads and public infrastructure. MLC Baswaraj Saraiah highlighted the lack of facilities in urban Anganwadi centers.

The meeting was attended by MPs Dr. Kadiyam Kavya and Porika Balaram Nayak, Mayor Gundu Sudharani, Secretary Anita Ramachandran, and district officials, marking a collective push for accelerated development across the region, an official statement said.
