North-South trough now runs from South Chhattisgarh to North Interior TN: Met

Amaravati, Mar 25 (UNI) Monday’s North-South trough or wind discontinuity from south Chhattisgarh to north Kerala now runs from south Chhattisgarh to North Interior Tamil Nadu across interior Maharashtra & interior Karnataka at 0.9 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said on Tuesday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that hot and humid weather conditions are likely at Isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema on March 27, 28 and 29.
Maximum temperatures are rising in tendency by 2-4 degrees Celsius, likely in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema from March 26 to 29.
Dry weather is likely to prevail in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
Rainfall occurred at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and dry weather prevailed in Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius was recorded at Nandaya in Rayalaseema on Monday, the report added.
