Odisha: Common Utility Corridor to cater to industrial demand in Gopalpur Industrial Park

Bhubaneswar, Mar 19 (UNI) A Common Utility Corridor in Odisha is coming up at Gopalpur, in Ganjam district under SCDF with an estimated project cost of 173.02 Crore, official sources said on Wednesday.
This will be the first of its kind Utility Corridor in the State which will cater to the demand of existing and upcoming industries in Gopalpur Industrial Park.

The High Power Committee(HPC) has approved two projects with total project costs of Rs.335.77 Crore of Industries Department such as y 10 MLD CETP at Paradeep and 30 MLD Deep Sea Discharge at Paradeep for funding under SCDF.
The first meeting of High Power Committee (HPC) on SIDBI Cluster Development Fund (SCDF) & Urban Infrastructure Development Fund (UIDF) for FY 2024-25 was held on Wednesday under chairpersonship of Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg on Tuesday.
The status of the projects sanctioned under SCDF, new project proposals under SCDF, eligible activities under Urban Infrastructure Development Fund (UIDF) were discussed in the meeting. UNI DP SSP
