Rainfall recorded in Himachal; isolated rain or thunder showers likely in next 24 hours

Shimla, May 11 (UNI) Several parts of Himachal Pradesh received light to moderate rainfall over the past 24 hours, with Kasauli recording the highest at 27.0 mm, followed by Dharampur (12.6 mm) and Khadrala (9.0 mm).
Other notable rainfall figures include Kahu and Shimla with 5.2 mm each, Kothi (4.6 mm), and Solan (4.4 mm).
Additional light showers were reported from Gondla (3.8 mm), Kukumseri (3.4 mm), Rampur (3.2 mm), Bharmaur and Chamba (3.0 mm each), Kufri (2.8 mm), Keylong (2.5 mm), and 2.0 mm each in Manali, Jogindernagar, and Kandaghat.
Meanwhile, maximum temperatures remained moderate, with Hamirpur recording the highest at 19.3°C, followed by Bilaspur (18.4°C), Una (18.3°C), and Kangra (18.2°C). Other temperatures reported include Nahan (17.7°C), Jubberhatti (17.4°C), Sundernagar (17.3°C), and Palampur (17.0°C). Shimla registered 14.6°C, Chamba 14.5°C, and Solan 14.4°C.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain or thunderstorms are likely at isolated places across the state in the next 24 hours.
