Kakinada, Apr 23 (UNI) District educational officer Pilli Ramesh said that Kakinada district had registered 82.20 pass percentage in the class X public examination results just announced by the state government.
The DEO told media persons here on Wednesday that the district has secured 15th place in the state with this percentage.
A total of 27,368 students, including 13,708 boys and 13,660 girls, appeared for the examination, of whom 10,850 boys and 11,658 girls - thus totalling 22,508 had passed, registering 82.24 pass percentage, he added.
