Chennai, Apr 24 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Thursday spoke
to the wife of TN tourist Dr Parameswaran, who was injured in the Pahalgam
terror attack in J and K, and undergoing treatment at AIIMS Delhi and promised
all assistance.
Mr Stalin spoke to Parameswaran's wife Dr Nayanthara over phone, enquired
about his health condition, the nature of treatment being given to him and
promised all help from the TN government.
After initial treatment at a local hospital, Dr Parameswaran was shifted to
AIIMS by an air ambulance for advanced treatment, an official release said.
Dr Nayanthara thanked Mr Stalin for taking expeditious steps in shifting her
husband to AIIMS Delhi from Pahalgam.
It said 40 tourists from TN who had gone to J and K, were brought to Delhi and
were sent to Chennai by train.
It said efforts were on to bring all the tourists from the State from J an K as per
the orders of the Chief Minister.
