TDP is brand ambassador for development: AP CM

Tirupati, July 3 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP national President N Chandrababu Naidu today emphasized that party workers must actively participate in every welfare and development initiatives of the government.


Addressing a meeting of party workers in his home constituency Kuppam, he stressed the importance of grassroots engagement and launched the 'Suparipalana Toli Adugu' campaign, urging the cadre to take the government’s achievements directly to the people.

He said that political governance is being implemented and called on the workers to engage equally in both party and government responsibilities.
Reflecting on Kuppam’s progress, he observed significant transformation since his first visit and reiterated the need to inform citizens about the government’s efforts.
He criticised the previous YSRCP led government for its failures, claiming it lost public trust due to misgovernance, and stated that TDP must now live up to its promises.

Naidu asked workers to resolve any issues encountered during their outreach and reminded them that while the past government cut pensions, the current administration is ensuring every eligible person receives one.

The Chief Minister mentioned that while leaders may change, party workers are the enduring force behind TDP, adding that TDP is a brand for development, and the workers are the brand ambassadors of the party.
He highlighted the ambitious plans for Kuppam, including transitioning all buses to electric and air-conditioned models, implementing 100% solar rooftop coverage, building a new airport, developing Mallappa Konda and Naniyala into tourism spots, and bringing Handri-Neeva water to eliminate drought in the region permanently.

Describing TDP as a vast and disciplined force, he said outstanding results can be achieved when every individual performs their duty effectively.
He called for a 100% completion of the door-to-door campaign within the next month and noted that the party’s public image should improve by at least 5 to 6 %.

Leadership training programs for grassroots workers will also be launched to further strengthen the organization.
The meeting was attended by MP Daggumalla Prasada, MLC Kancherla Srikanth, APSRTC Vice Chairman PS Muniratnam, and other senior leaders.
