Telangana budget 2025-26 lays foundation for inclusive growth: FICCI

Hyderabad, Mar 19 (UNI) V V Rama Raju, Chairman of the FICCI Telangana State Council, commended the Telangana government’s 2025-26 budget for its forward-thinking vision aimed at driving inclusive growth and establishing the state as a leader in technology, infrastructure, and sustainable development.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, he highlighted the introduction of the Mega Master Plan 2050 and the Future City project, which focus on AI innovations, smart infrastructure, and attracting global investments. FICCI also praised the increased allocations for education, healthcare, irrigation, and welfare schemes, which are expected to enhance social welfare and ensure economic stability.
Rama Raju emphasized the budget’s focus on strengthening digital infrastructure, developing industrial clusters, and boosting rural economies through targeted agricultural initiatives. He appreciated the government's efforts to integrate AI technologies and modernize key sectors, ensuring Telangana remains at the forefront of technological advancements.
Additionally, he acknowledged the government’s decentralization efforts, including the development of industrial clusters in Ranga Reddy and Mahbubnagar, and the HICITI initiative to improve urban mobility with 31 flyovers and 17 underpasses.
Meela Jayadev, Co-Chairman of the FICCI Telangana State Council, echoed these views, emphasizing the budget's focus on industrial growth and its potential to create new opportunities for MSMEs. He also highlighted the government’s commitment to agricultural growth with an allocation of Rs 24,439 crore, aimed at leveraging technology to boost rural economies.
