TGIC launches ‘Innovation Panchayat Vol.1’ to connect ideas with ecosystem experts

Hyderabad, June 20 (UNI) In a major boost to Telangana’s vibrant startup and innovation landscape, the Telangana Innovation Cell (TGIC) launched its newest initiative, ‘Innovation Panchayat Vol.1’, aimed at bridging the gap between aspiring innovators and the state's rich ecosystem of entrepreneurship support.

The event, held Friday at T-Hub, opened its doors to entrepreneurs, creators, and curious minds, providing them with direct access to mentorship and expert guidance.

The initiative offers a walk-in, face-to-face consultation platform where innovators and startup founders can receive personalised advice and connect with key stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem. It is designed to demystify the startup journey and create a direct, accessible route for those looking to transform their ideas into impactful ventures.

Speaking at the event, Meraj Faheem, CEO of TGIC, Government of Telangana, said, “This 'Innovation Panchayat Vol.1' truly reflects Telangana's strong belief in its people's spirit of innovation and our commitment to making the ecosystem accessible to all. We are bringing the best minds from across the innovation landscape to meet aspiring entrepreneurs directly. Our aim is to empower every idea and ensure no potential goes unheard.”

The pilot edition of this initiative will run until August 2025, with consultation days scheduled on the third Friday of every month from 1400 hour to 1700 hours at T-Hub. Innovators can present ideas, prototypes, or simply raise queries about navigating the startup ecosystem.

Key organisations such as T-Hub, TGIC, T-Works, WE Hub, EdVenture Park, RICH, IIIT-Hyderabad, and MATH will provide dedicated mentors and support personnel during these sessions. Participants will benefit from on-the-spot guidance, challenge resolution, and direct connections to relevant programs and institutions. To ensure continuity, TGIC has also announced a structured follow-up process within a week of each interaction.

By fostering accessibility, collaboration, and community-driven support, ‘Innovation Panchayat Vol.1’ sets the stage for a more inclusive and responsive innovation ecosystem in Telangana. The initiative stands as a testament to the state government’s ongoing commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and nurturing grassroots innovation across the region.
