UP Guv, Yogi extend greetings on Ram Navami

Lucknow, Apr 5 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday extended their heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Ram Navami.
In his congratulatory message, the Governor said, "The life of Lord Ram is an ideal for all of us. The morality, dignity, and dedication established by him should be imbibed in life."
She said that people should take inspiration from the ideals of Lord Ram's life and adopt them in their conduct. She wished that with the blessings of Lord Shri Ram, the people of the country and the state may attain happiness, prosperity, and peace in their lives.
CM Yogi said that Ram Navami is the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram. "Along with the festival of Ram Navami, the worship of Chaitra Navratri is also performed," he said.
He said that Lord Shri Ram inspired us to live our lives by following religion. "His entire life inspires us to follow the noble qualities of Indian culture, including faith, devotion, power, peace, modesty, and good conduct," he said.
Yogi said that the character of Lord Shri Ram presents exemplary ideals in every sphere of life. "His life character inspires an ideal life as well as purity of conduct. As Maryada Purushottam, the life of Lord Shri Ram teaches us all the lessons of sacrifice, observance of limits, and devotion to duty. The high values of his great character provide peace and happiness to the people. His character reflects dignity, sacrifice, love, and public behaviour at every step," he said.
He said that the festival of Ram Navami is an opportunity to inculcate the messages of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram in our personality. "It is a matter of great pride for UP that the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram is Ayodhya. Every year on the occasion of Ram Navami, devotees from every corner of the country come here. Along with celebrating the birth of Lord Shri Ram with reverence and devotion on the holy occasion of Ram Navami, we should also be aware of the fact that there is a need to inculcate the ideals of Lord Shri Ram in our conduct," he said.

Himachal Pradesh ministerial council approves interim contract for Hotel Wildflower Hall

Shimla, Apr 5 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Council of Ministers today decided to enter into an interim operation contract with East India Hotel Ltd (EIH Ltd) for the management of Hotel Wildflower Hall in Mashobra. The draft of the contract was approved in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
Under the agreement, EIH Ltd will manage the property on an interim basis, ensuring a monthly revenue of Rs 1.77 crore for the state government.
