Vrindavan to have mega parking facility soon

Lucknow, April 2 (UNI) To enhance the experience and provide seamless accessibility to the devotees and tourists visiting Vrindavan, the spiritual city of Uttar Pradesh, a mega parking facility will come up soon.
Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said that the Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad has decided to construct a state-of-the-art tourist parking facility at a cost of Rs 35.54 crore. "To start the ambitious project, an initial instalment of Rs 7 crore has already been released," he said.
He said, "Every year, thousands of devotees and tourists visit the sacred city of Vrindavan, enriching its spiritual and cultural vibrancy."
Emphasising the significance of the project, he said that the project aims to improve accessibility in Vrindavan while offering world-class amenities to tourists. He said that a modern parking facility will be developed in the Rajpur Bangar area of Vrindavan.
Singh said that the first floor of the parking lot will have dedicated space for buses, while the remaining four floors will be utilised for parking at a multilevel facility. "Upon completion, this project will ensure a hassle-free parking experience for devotees and decongest the internal roads of the city," he said.
He said that the Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad is committed to prioritising this project for timely completion. "The city receives a significant number of domestic travellers as well as international tourists round the year, which has created a long-felt need for a mega parking space," he said.
