'As long as I live, I will not allow reservation and the Constitution to be harmed': LJP chief Chirag Paswan

Varanasi, Nov 5 (UNI) Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) National President and union Minister, Chirag Paswan, launched a scathing attack on opposition parties, especially the Congress and the Samajwadi Party and criticized the opposition's politics on the issues of reservation, the Constitution, and social justice.
Paswan, while addressibg a public rally here on Thursday, stated unequivocally that during elections, the opposition spreads the illusion among the public that reservation will be abolished and the Constitution will be in danger if the NDA government comes to power.
Expressing his resolve, he said, "As long as Chirag Paswan is alive, I will not allow any harm to reservation and the Constitution to be threatened."
He said that social justice and the protection of the rights of the underprivileged are the core of his political philosophy.
Remembering his father and former union Minister, the late Ram Vilas Paswan, he said that fulfilling his father's unfulfilled dreams is his responsibility as a son as well as a public servant.
His resolve is to carry forward the ideas and spirit of social justice of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.
Taking aim at the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, he questioned the opposition's respect for Babasaheb and their commitment to the Constitution. He said that political parties that talk about social justice must also answer for their own history and actions.
Speaking on the future of the youth of Uttar Pradesh, Paswan said that the youth here have immense talent and potential, but they should have adequate opportunities for better education and employment in their own state.
Instead of dividing youth on the basis of caste and religion, providing them with opportunities for education, employment, and development is the need of the hour.
Reiterating his resolve to make Uttar Pradesh a developed state, he said, "I have set out with a shroud on my head to make Uttar Pradesh a developed state. I will not rest until I have made Uttar Pradesh a developed state."
He stated that this resolve is not for one person, but for the future of the entire state. The blessings of elders, the affection of mothers and sisters, and the support of the youth are essential for this. He called on the youth to carry forward this torch of change.
Paswan appealed for unity, rising above caste, religion, and creed, and said that the vision of development must be strengthened by reaching every section of society and the last family in the village.
He made an emotional appeal to the public, saying, "Give me your support, trust, and blessings; I will work with complete honesty and dedication to fulfill your dreams."
He expressed confidence that with the cooperation of the people, energy of the youth and blessings of the elders, Uttar Pradesh can be taken to new dimensions of development, education, employment and social justice.
