'Bhay: A Gaurav Tiwari Mystery' Season 2 to commence filming in Jan 2027

Mumbai, Sep 29 (UNI) The makers of "Bhay: A Gaurav Tiwari Mystery" are preparing to reopen the case files for a second season.
Sources close to the project say work is underway on Season 2, which is being planned on a bigger scale than the first chapter, and is set to go on floors in January 2027.
If the schedule stays on track, the second instalment could be ready for a late-2027 release. The first season, which premiered in 2025, was produced by Prabhleen Sandhu under Almighty Motion Picture and directed by Robbie Grewal. Written by Arshad Sayed, the series featured Karan Tacker as paranormal investigator Gaurav Tiwari, with the character's investigations and mysterious encounters forming the core of the narrative.
Rather than relying solely on conventional horror tropes and jump scares, "Bhay" built its narrative around paranormal investigations, unexplained incidents and the fear associated with things beyond human understanding. At the centre of that world was Tiwari, a protagonist who actively pursued cases that others would rather stay away from, according to Bollywood Hungama.
For Season 2, the makers are said to be developing a fresh set of paranormal cases while expanding the world established in the first chapter. It remains unclear whether the story will directly follow the events of Season 1 or take Tiwari into an entirely new investigation.
The cast for the new season has also not been announced. However, sources indicate that the makers intend to retain Tacker as Tiwari, allowing the actor to continue anchoring the franchise. An official announcement is awaited.
