Korean sci-fi thriller ‘Hope’ to reach Indian cinemas on October 23

Mumbai, Sep 29 (UNI) Korean filmmaker Na Hong-jin’s science-fiction thriller "Hope" will release in Indian theatres on October 23, with the film’s original September 25 release date pushed back amid the certification process.
The English version of the film has received certification from the CBFC without any cuts, while the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubbed versions are undergoing certification. The film's international release will continue until November.
Directed by Na Hong-jin, director of films like "The Chaser", "The Yellow Sea" and "The Wailing", "Hope" revolves around mysterious and dangerous events that unfold after the discovery of an unidentified object in a remote port town.
The film stars Hwang Jung-min, Jo In-sung, Jung Ho-yeon, Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander and Taylor Kitsch in lead roles.
The movie has grossed over US$7 million in the United States and is currently being released internationally in the UK, Sweden, Switzerland, Ireland, and other countries.
Presented by Plus M Entertainment and co-produced by Forged Films in association with Plus M Entertainment and Westworld, 'Hope' is distributed in India by Star Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
