Air show rehearsal draws huge enthusiasm in Varanasi

Varanasi, Oct 21 (UNI) A rehearsal was held on Wednesday at Namo Ghat for the air show proposed here on October 22, 24 and 25.
Ambulances, medical centres, police and tourist assistance centres were on stand by. Over 1000 school children and other spectators were present. During the rehearsal, the bravery and amazing aerial stunts of the Indian Air Force were displayed in the sky of Ganga. First of all, three Sarang aircraft flew from Namo Ghat towards Assi Ghat.
An estimated 1.5 to 2 million people are expected to attend the event. In view of the expected large crowd, the administration has made special arrangements in areas across the Ganges. Meanwhile, there is tremendous enthusiasm among the people regarding this air show.
People from surrounding districts are also planning to witness this historic event. Those who came to watch the trials on Wednesday included those from Azamgarh, Mau, and Ghazipur.
